I have been away from Shutterchance for days...well it feels like forever. I took some time out to be a tourist in a wonderful city. I promised myself I wouldn't take any photographs but I sub-consiously packed one of my cameras....the rest is history. I might post some of the photos someday
Back to the shot. This shot is a combination of two things. The first is the wedding fan which is a common feature at Nigerian traditional weddings, I assume the bride needs it for when she feels hot and needs some air. I will look into it. The second aspect of this shot is the action. The bride and groom are on their knees, eyes closed while the elders at the ceremony pray for them. This is to equip the new couple with blessings and properity.
